STATEMENT

-To Begin with the human body, to cover it, to conceal it and to contain it, so as to expose it, reveal it and set it free-

The intention of my work is to explore and confront the human body as a form that is both unstable and permeable. To investigate, through painting, drawing and sculpture, the blurred boundaries between both the external and internal; the seen and the unseen; and the private and the public. My work is a response to all that is hidden, as well as to all that is exposed: To cover in order to uncover.
